Our jobs

I thought it may be helpful to know our specific jobs, how we are spending 30-60 hours a week. Pray for us in our jobs, that we represent Christ. That we have a servants heart, that we worship God in our work, and that we seize opportunities to build relationships and have conversation with our co-workers.

Emily, Ellie, Rob: Chick-Fil-A. Ellie and I are on the registers, taking orders and bagging food. We also get to do jobs such as make tea and lemonade, stock and clean. Rob works in the back, on the screens, making sure the food is made for the orders, and doing whatever needs to be done.

Pat: Food host. He works at a concession stand that sells candy, elephant ears.. etc. He makes the food, bags the food, as well as works the register.

Ashley: Live entertainment. She works at a show called "Extreme Wheels." She is the one who makes annououncements (the person you know you should be listening to but nobody does), and also introduces the show and helps guests to seats, etc. They also do the cleaning and prep for shows.. powerwashing the stadium is a big job.

Lauren: Restroom attendant. She cleans bathrooms, and sweeps on her way to and from restrooms. She is being trained to be a team leader, which means she'll be in charge of other restroom attendants in her area. She also gets to "test" rides when needed. She rode the Raptor for 2 hours the other day..

Kayla: Sweep. She walks around a certain area of the park and sweeps....

Erika: Merchandise. She works in gift shops. Mainly in the "Emporium." But they also move her around to different shops and she was a "mobile" the other night.. selling light up things for the nights lazer show....

Jamie: Server. She works at the Red Garter Saloon. It is a dinner theater. So they have a band that does a set "show" every hour in the evenings.

Josh and Kevin: Games. Josh mainly works at the ladder climb. Kevin has moved around to different games, but mainly the 3-point challenge (yep, they are those annoying people you try to ignore because they are trying to entice you to play their game).
