Many of the members have been meeting with coworkers and people they've met in the dorms for one-on-one hangout time and time spent studying God's Word.
Please pray for:
- those who know Christ but are struggling or in need of guidance/discipleship: Nicole, Kara, Matt and Susan, Nick, Chris, Lindsey, Sam, Kelly, Janie,
- those who don't know His grace: Cassie, Abdo, Shelby, Ashley, Angela, Cory, Amber, Abby, Katie, Chris, Giselle, Ace, Callie, Teri-Ann, Andrs, Juan, Charlotte, Kirby, Petia, Gabriella (has been talking about baptism and making a decision, pray for God's working in her heart), Amber, Josh, Austin, Ally, Alia,
- those who we are just starting to build relationships with: Lauren, Hannah, Briana, Jun, Tara, Stephanie, Mike, Matt, Cody, Margie
- Please pray that we find rest, not just physical rest but true rest in the Lord.
- Also, that we stay focused on the purpose that God brought all of us here in the first place.
- Pray for us to understand the urgency of telling of the Gospel to the lost.
- Pray for boldness in our conversation as we started to realize this week how fast time is going by this summer.
- We ask that you pray for Emily as she works, continues to raise her support for her ministry at His House this fall, meet with our members, and leads our Sunday meetings: that she will find rest and have a balance to all that God is leading her to do. She is a blessing to us all!
Your prayers are an essential part of what God is doing here at Cedar Point and we appreciate your support more than you know! Also praise God that one of our members, Mackenzie, was faithful in the call to be baptized 2 weeks ago! She has a passion to see the lost know the joy of the Lord :)
We are the body. Together.
"If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet ONE body...But God has so composed the body...that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. " -1 Corinthians 12:19, 24-27
