The Home Stretch

Pray for strength and focus! Pray that we can fight laziness and complacency and can look to God's leading in our every day.

Pray for these team members and the specific relationships that they have, that God may guide the 3 weeks we have remaining!

Trent:

- Jeff

- Johnny

- Alyssa

Nick:

- Kevin. He seems apathetic about real issues of life.

Ben:

- Tyler. He's been seeking, but is stubborn. He said no to studying the Bible one-on-one. He lives with Ben and Nick. His dad is going through a hard time at home and he is considering going home.

- Mike.

Devon:

- Shane. He is very distracted and turns to drinking a lot. He does not trust people, but has a trust with Devon.

- Ray. He lives with Devon and Trent. He's from Malaysia and is culturally Buddhist.

Emily:

- Maria. We met to talk about baptism. She understands what it means to follow Christ and turn from her life of sin, but she has to decide to do this.

Deanna:

- Emily. She says she is a Christian but has accepted being gay. She recognizes the difficultly of living that life. She needs to submit her will to God's.

Ellie:

- Ashley. She feels lonely and finds her worth in spending time with guys. She needs to recognize that God is always with her.

- Amanda. Says she is a Christian but doesn't live it out. Pray that she comes to know Jesus as her King and that being Christian isn't just a family/culture thing.

- Seth. He's a Christian. He shows anger and frustration a lot. Pray that he learn what it means to live an intentional, loving life.

- Ognyen. He's from Bulgaria. Pray that God softens his heart to the gospel.

Mackenzie:

- Dustin. He claims he's a Christian, but doesn't care about seeking God.

- Sam. She is seeking. She is wrestling with why God would take her grandpa at a seemingly young age.

Abby:

- Shebbie. She's catholic and came to Bible study last week. Pray that we can encourage her in seeking God.

- Chris. He has a desire to go deeper.

- Christina. Her dad is a pastor. She says that she's felt convicted. She has not been walking the walk. Pray that she realizes that God is everything, not just something people do.

Also:

.. pray for Sydney. Mel, who is a Christian and been involved in Bible studies this summer, is her roommate. Sydney came to Bible study last week. Pray for Mel's relationship and conversations with her.

.. pray for Pei, Li, and Hsin. Girls from Singapore and Taiwan. Ellie, Mackenzie, and I had them for dinner and we are supposed to have them cook Chinese for us next week!
